The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the jaw joint. If there are any issues
in this area, they can cause pain that results in the need to seek treatment for
headaches in The Woodlands.
People who tend to clench or grind their teeth over and over might prematurely
wear down the cartilage of their TMJ. This can cause pain that radiates
all the way up to the ear, or down through the jaw and into the throat.
It can even cause headaches or a feeling of fullness in the ears. You
can learn more about TMJ problems in this video. If you are having any
headaches or issues in the jaw area, schedule an appointment with your
dentist to find the right treatment for you.
